On the Red Couch with DecodeDC’s Andrea Seabrook

Inside Flipboard / January 18, 2013

Andrea Seabrook left “the best job in journalism” at NPR to launch a bold new radio show called DecodeDC. Funded through Kickstarter, the podcasts seek to explain U.S. politics in a clear, concise way—devoid of political jargon and agendas.

Seabrook escaped the D.C. winter to sit down with us at Flipboard HQ in Palo Alto, CA, and discuss her plunge into the world of independent journalism. She shares how—and where—she gets her news, and why the things that are unsaid in the media are just as important as what’s reported on every day.
